8(a) Certification Not Displaying on SAM.gov

When companies are granted their 8(a) certification, the certification may not automatically appear in SAM.gov. As soon as you receive notification from the SBA that your 8(a) certification has been granted, log into your SAM.gov account and click on “Update” to put your profile in WIP (work in progress) status.

If you do not see the 8(a) certification information appear in the ‘Core Data --> Entity Types’ section (see screenshots below) within four days, please contact the Certify Help Desk. Do not hit submit or take your profile out of WIP until you see your 8(a) certification appear.
