8(a) Status List

Initial Application

·        Draft – From the time the application is created until it is submitted to SBA

·        Screening – Application submission until CODS Analyst reviews application

·        Returned – If CODS Analyst returns application

·        Returned with 15 Day Letter – If CODS Analyst returns application with 15-day letter

·        Closed – If CODS Analyst determines that the applicant is not responsive

·        Processing – CODS Analyst accepts for processing when application is complete (starts a 90-day clock)

·        Approved/Active - AABD makes final eligibility determination

·        Declined – AABD makes final eligibility determination

·        Declined - Appeal – Under appeal with the Office of Hearings and Appeals

·        Graduated – Met the goals in their business plan at the end of 9-year program participation

·        Completed – Did not meet the goals in their business plan at the end of their 9-year program participation

·        Early Graduated- Complete program early due to growth of business or personal financial success of DVD owner

·        Intent to Terminate – Firm has been notified of SBA intent to terminate and has 30 days to respond

·        Terminated – Removed from program for non-compliance with eligibility criteria

·        Withdrawn – Leaves the program by choice

·        Suspended – Pause program participation

Annual Review (Business Development)

·        Draft – Application creation to submission

·        Draft Overdue – Annual review not submitted ion 30 days

·        Submitted – Received by SBA and under review by the District Office BOS

·        Submitted Overdue – Received but not reviewed by SBA in 60 days

·        Complete – Annual review analysis completed by District Office BOS and reviewed/approved by Supervisor

Annual Review (Continuing Eligibility)

·        Retained – Continuing eligibility review completed, and firm eligibility confirmed
