Which applications are already available in Certify.SBA.gov?
Firms can currently complete the Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) and the Mentor-Protégé (MPP) applications in Certify. Analysts can view firms’ records from those applications and use that information to help firms apply for 8(a) Certification. Firms will be able to apply for 8(a) Certification beginning in November 2017.

We are in the initial planning phases for integrating the HUBZone application into Certify.SBA.gov. We will provide updates on that integration in 2018.

When will we be able to complete Annual Reviews in Certify.SBA.gov?
Annual Review functionality will be launched in January of 2018. The Certify team will conduct training sessions including “Train the Trainer” sessions for SBA staff who work directly with firms. We will and demonstrate all of the Annual Review features and answer questions.

Can firms still use BDMIS?
Firms who were completing their initial applications BDMIS were required to submit those applications by October 15, 2017. However, firms can still submit their Annual Updates in BDMIS. We do not have plans to decommission or “turn off” BDMIS until after we release the Annual Review functionality in Certify.SBA.gov. This release is planned for January of 2018. After that release, firms will complete their Annual Updates through the Certify.SBA.gov website.
