User Guide for Delegates
Please note: if you have an active MySBA Loan Portal, Capital Access Financial System (CAFS) or Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) account, you do not need to create a new account in MySBA Certifications. You can follow the steps in the How do I Login to MySBA with my CLS Credentials? guide instead.
When you get the following email from MySBA this means someone has invited you to contribute to an application. You will first need to create an account in order to access the application.
Go to the MySBA Certifications homepage and click the blue Sign Up / Login button in the top right corner. Then click the second blue Sign Up / Login button shown to create an account.
Next you will see the login page, note you need to first create an account to login. So, click the ‘Sign up’ button at the bottom of the login page.
Enter your information (First name, Last name, Email to create an account with MySBA Certifications. Make sure you check the box stating you agree to the terms and conditions once you have reviewed them before clicking sign up at the bottom.
Next you will be directed to two security methods. Go ahead and click the Set up for your password.
Follow the instructions below to enter your password. Then click the blue ‘Next’ button.
Next you will be directed to verify your email. Go to your email to finish this step. Note, the email will be coming from Okta.
Below is an example of the email you will be getting from Okta.
Click the blue, Verify your email button.
OR
Use the verification code at the bottom of the email.
Next you will see an option to Set up Okta Verify, for additional security measures. Click the blue ‘Continue’ button if you just want to continue to logging in
10. Now you have successfully completed your sign-up process and should see the screen below. Click the blue ‘Enter Code’ to go next.
11. You will then be directed to the following page where you can enter your invitation code and then click submit.
