1. How do I Create a MySBA Certifications Account?

Please note: if you have an active MySBA Loan Portal, Capital Access Financial System (CAFS) or Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) account, you do not need to create a new account in MySBA Certifications. You can follow the steps in the How do I Login to MySBA Certifications with my CLS Credentials? guide instead.

  1. Go to the MySBA Certifications homepage and click the blue Sign Up / Login button in the top right corner. Then click the second blue Sign Up / Login button shown to create an account.

  1. Next you will see the login page. At the bottom of the page, click the blue Sign up link shown:

  1. Enter your information (First name, Last name, Email Address) to create an account with MySBA Certifications. Please review the terms and conditions and make sure you check the box stating you agree, before clicking Sign Up.

  1. Next you will be directed to two security methods. First, click the Set up button for your password:

  1. Review the password requirements shown, and enter a password that meets those requirements. Then click the blue, Next button.

  1. To complete the verification process, check your inbox for an email from Okta. To verify your email address, please take one of the following steps:

     

    • Click the blue, Verify your email button.

    • Use the verification code at the bottom of the email.

    • Note: If you choose to select the button, your email will be verified and you will be redirected to MySBA Certification and your account successfully created (see step 10).

  1. To use the code, click the Enter a verification code instead link shown:

  1. Enter the code and click the blue, Verify button shown:

  1. Next you will see an optional security measure to set up Okta Verify. If you choose to set this up, please follow Okta’s onscreen or mobile instructions. Click the blue, Continue button to skip the Okta Verify step and finish creating your account for MySBA Certifications.

  1. You have successfully created an account for MySBA Certifications and should see the screen shown.

     

    If you are a Contributor and/or Delegate you can use your Invitation Code via the blue, Enter Code button.

    If you are a Primary Qualifying Owner, you can Claim Your Business via the blue, Begin button.
