Q What is certify.SBA.gov?
A The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is working to modernize the application process for federal contracting programs. 

Q Which applications are already available in Certify.SBA.gov?

A Firms can now manage their their applications and eligibility documentation for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSBs), All Small Mentor-Protégé programs, and 8(a) Initial Applications (starting 11/15/2017) online from our easy-to-use dashboard.  Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Programs will be introduced into Certify in the Summer of 2018.

Q Are you widely promoting the launch of 8(a) Initial Application in November? How can we help?

Q How does Certify make SBA certifications easier for firms and SBA staff?

Analysts can view firms’ records from those applications and use that information to help firms apply for 8(a) Certification. Firms will be able to apply for 8(a) Certification beginning in November 2017.
